Our Founders Story
A year after moving from Japan to San Antonio, Alan saw an opportunity to open a rock climbing gym. Alan contemplated the use of computer vision technology to gain a competitive advantage and came up with a concept. The concept came up in a discussion with Nick, who, after many probing questions, felt confident in his ability to build the product. Over several months, Alan and Nick explored the potential applications of computer vision in fitness environments. Through their discussions, they realized that their innovative idea would be more impactful in typical gym settings rather than just rock climbing. This realization sparked the evolution of their initial concept into something much broader.
